Teaching Experience: Nevena is a foreign qualified lawyer with over 8 years of experience in legal practice. She was awarded a competitive scholarship by the Cambridge Overseas Trust to pursue an LL.M degree at the University of Cambridge in 2012/2013. She completed her LL.M degree with 2.1. Consistently with recent trends in higher education, she has also acquired experience of the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching activities. In particular, she was working as an external consultant in association with Henley Business School, University of Reading on a project to develop an online executive-level training course for Data Protection Officers.
She has an extensive tutoring experience in multiple subjects such as: The Law of the World Trade Organisation, International Environmental Law, Family Law and International Commercial Tax Law. She has helped students to develop exam techniques, analyse legal articles and improve essay-writing skills. She has experience working with undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as A-level secondary school students. As a result of her tutoring experience, she has learned the most effective methods for tailoring teaching towards a particular age group or stage of their education. She is also experienced and very keen to help students to enrol onto the UK universities or colleges.
