Teaching Experience: Usman’s research explores various facets of corporate personality and corporate accountability in an inter-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional context. He not only possesses over 15 years of private law tutoring experience but also over a decade of legal education and career consultancy experience. Furthermore, he was awarded a distinction in Company Law from the University of London during his LLB and conducted extensive research in the field of corporate law as part of his LLM at UCL for which he also received a distinction. Usman specialised in the following modules during his LLM in Corporate Law at UCL: Legal Aspects of International Finance, International and Commercial Trusts Law, International and Comparative Secured Transactions and Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions. He is passionate about tutoring and this passion led him to complete Oxford University's Effective Online Tutoring Course, the UCL Student Mentoring Scheme, the NTU Teacher Training Course and the UCL Programme for Law Teachers.
