Teaching Experience : Michael is a highly experienced, passionate and dedicated tutor, having taught students at LLB, LLM, SQE and BPTC level over a four-year teaching career. He is a Future Pupil Barrister at a leading commercial chancery set of barrister chambers based on Essex Street, London. Michael has LLB and LLM degrees from the London School of Economics, where he was awarded the Anniversary Scholarship and Blackstone Chambers Prize in human rights law, alongside achieving top in his year across several subjects and second in year for his thesis. He represented the LSE in the Phillip. C. Jessup International Law Moot (Quarter Finalist) and Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moots (ranked 8th from 368 teams in Vienna). Michael passed the English bar in 2021 as a Lord Denning and Residential Scholar at Lincoln's Inn. He particularly enjoys teaching subjects with a theoretical element, and has wide ranging interests across legal theory, European law, international law, commercial law and human rights. Michael is particularly specialist at improving the legal writing of his students, and emphasises that the most persuasive work is simple, concise and well-structured.
